PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

D-xylose is a five-carbon sugar obtained by hydrolysis of hemicellulose-rich plants such as sawdust, rice straw, and corn cobs. Its chemical formula is C5H10O5. Colorless to white crystals or white crystalline powder with a slight special smell and refreshing sweetness. The sweetness is about 40% of sucrose. , with a melting point of 114 degrees, has dextrorotatory and variable optical rotation, is easily soluble in hot ethanol and pyrimidine, and has a sweetness of 67% that of sucrose. Xylose has similar chemical properties to glucose and can be reduced to the corresponding alcohol, such as xylitol, or oxidized to 3-hydroxy-glutaric acid. The human body cannot digest and utilize it. Natural crystals are found in a variety of ripe fruits.

PRODUCT USAGE

1. Non-caloric sweetener. Used for obese and diabetic patients. It is also used to prevent fat oxidation, to make sauce-colored raw materials, and to prepare pork and other spices through the Maillard reaction.

2. Xylose has a high proliferation effect on bifidobacteria in the human intestine. Consuming xylose can improve the microbial environment of the human body. Improve the body's immunity. Xylose has good compatibility with food. Adding a small amount of xylose to food can show good health care effects. Taking xylose and calcium at the same time can improve the body's absorption and retention rate of calcium and prevent constipation.

3. Used to prepare xylitol.

4. Due to its obvious flavor-enhancing effect, it can be used in spices and pet feed industries

5. Because it can efficiently induce the Maillard reaction, it can be used to produce food flavorings

6. Due to its obvious color-lifting effect, it can be used for golden brown coloring in the food industry, such as butter and bread coloring.

7. Pharmaceutical raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates

8. Suitable for the preparation of flavors and fragrances
