Colorless liquid with aromatic odor. It is soluble in many organic solvents, such as ethanol, ether, etc. Relative density 1.07. Boiling point 279-281℃. Refractive index 1.4620. Flash point 155℃.

PRODUCT USES

Diethyl ethoxymethylmalonate has many uses in the chemical industry. It can be used as a solvent to dissolve fatty acid methyl esters, rubber and resin. Secondly, it can be used as a plastic additive to improve the softness and ductility of plastics. It can also be used in the preparation of inks, coatings and glues.
