PRODUCT APPLICATION

1. Used as paper sizing agent in papermaking industry to enhance the water resistance and anti-seepage performance of paper.

2. After dissolving in water, it can make the fine particles and natural colloid particles in the water condense into large flocs, thereby removing them from the water, so it is used as a coagulant for wastewater.

3. In the fire protection industry, it is combined with baking soda and foaming agent to form a foam fire extinguishing agent.

4. Mordant, tanning agent, oil decolorizer, wood preservative.

5. In the fuel industry, it is used as a precipitant in the production of chrome yellow and lake dyes, and also acts as a color fixer and filler.

PRODUCT USES

1. Used as a coagulant in sewage treatment, it has good decolorization ability. Together with ferrous sulfate, it also has the functions of removing heavy metal ions, degreasing, dephosphorization, and sterilization. It is especially effective in decolorizing and removing COD from printing and dyeing wastewater, and co-precipitating ferrite from electroplating wastewater.

2. Used as a precipitant, it can generate precipitates with sulfides, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, phosphates, etc., thereby removing sulfides, phosphates, etc. It is used as a deodorizing and decolorizing agent in the petroleum industry. It is used as an astringent in the pharmaceutical industry and also as a waterproofing agent.

3. Aluminum sulfate is easily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is slightly acidic. It is widely used for the purification of drinking water and industrial water, and is suitable for the treatment of wastewater with lower alkalinity; as a precipitant, it removes sulfur ions, phosphate ions, etc.
